ATEC/Indirex is a Colorado based company specializing in Evaporative Cooling Products. We are a wholesaler/distributor of Evaporative cooling media and products. We are here to offer you the best in evaporative cooling and help you have a cool day. We offer faster lead times, custom cutting and fitting, and the best in customer service.

ATEC/Indirex was started in 1998 by Karl Egbert and his wife Cynthia. They started ATEC in the living room of their small mountain home along with their four kids. Here we are more than 20 years later and the family has grown to include many wonderful ATEC family members. Together we have grown and continue to grow as the industry grows.

Karl
Founder & P.E
Karl Egbert grew up in Wheat Ridge, CO. He graduated from Colorado School of Mines. He loves baseball and cartooning. He always dreamed of starting my own business to provide for my family. ATEC has been a dream come true, in more ways than one. Karl is grateful for all the great people he has met in this industry! Karl has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's Disease. Operations/Logistics Manager
Hi, my name is Val. I’m the Logistics and Warehouse Manager over here at ATEC. I’ve been in warehouse operations for the past 8 years and like to think of the forklift as my second car. When I’m not here cutting media, I enjoy painting, retro video games, and spending time with my girlfriend, her son, and both our families. I’m always happy to help, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have for me. Be well!

I have been part of ATEC my whole life, or I guess ATEC has been a part of my life. I went to trade school out of Utah and I have AAS degree in welding. I love being back at the family business. I love spending time with my wife and we love the outdoors. Camping, hiking with our puppy, if it's outside we love it. I am a large knife enthusiast and sometimes I make my own knives.

I grew up a part of the ATEC family and I love being back with the ATEC family. I have spent the last few years working in the education system and working and interning in education at Walt Disney World and SeaWorld. Now I love spending time with my wonderful husband and our little one who is growing way too fast! I love all things cows, critters, family, and of course Disney.
