New Construction: Plan...Design...Build...Save.
The construction of a new building can be one of the largest endeavors an organization will ever undertake. The planning and preparation that such an enterprise requires can be daunting, but it also provides a unique opportunity to ensure that the new building will meet all of the goals that the designers, owners, and occupants have for the new building.
We work with architects, engineers, and contractors to incorporate Evaporative PreCoolers into the design of new building construction. By designing PreCoolers into the blueprints, we actually bring down the cost of an effective HVAC system into the building.
For example, a building that requires 60 nominal tons of cooling, could add PreCoolers to a 52 ton chiller which would provide 60 tons of cooling. However, the kW demand savings for the 52 ton chiller is 18kW less than a 60 ton unit, the breaker size is 125 amps vs.150 amps for the 60 ton chiller. The 52 ton chiller is also 3 feet shorter in length, 1,064 lbs. lighter, and costs thousands less than it’s 60 ton counterpart.
You can see how planning Evaporative PreCoolers into your design during the first phases of any project can save your organization money, space, and energy
